1. Introduction
Nordihaus LLC ("Nordihaus," "we," "us," or "our") processes payments for its services through secure third-party payment processors and financial institutions. This page explains how payments are handled and how your payment information is protected.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards, processed by Stripe
- Bank transfer (ACH or wire), only where agreed with us in writing, for example under an individual arrangement with a real estate agent or agency
The payment options available for a specific purchase are shown at checkout or agreed with us in advance.
3. Card Payments via Stripe
Card payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you pay by card, your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment interface and transmitted over an encrypted connection.
Nordihaus does not store full card numbers or card security codes. We receive only limited information needed to manage your order, such as the payment status, billing details, and partial payment method details made available by Stripe. Depending on your card issuer, you may be asked to complete additional authentication to confirm a payment.
4. ACH and Wire Transfers
Where a bank transfer has been agreed with us in writing, ACH and wire transfers are processed through banks and financial institutions. Nordihaus receives only the information needed to identify and reconcile a payment, such as the payer's name, amount, date, and payment reference.
Please make transfers only to the bank account details provided to you directly by Nordihaus. If you receive payment instructions that appear unusual or differ from previous instructions, contact us at info@nordihaus.de before making the payment.
5. Website Security
Our website uses encrypted HTTPS connections to protect data transmitted between your browser and the website. Access to payment-related records is limited to persons who need it to process orders, refunds, and accounting.
6. Scope of Our Payments
Payments made to Nordihaus relate only to our own services, such as the Nordi+ membership and listing packages. Nordihaus does not receive, hold, or transfer purchase price payments, deposits, or any other funds relating to property transactions between buyers and sellers.
7. Protecting Yourself Against Fraud
- Nordihaus will never ask you to send your full card number, card security code, or account password by email, chat, or phone.
- Keep your account login details confidential.
- Review your card and bank statements regularly.
- If you notice a payment you do not recognize, or suspect misuse of your payment information, contact us and your bank or card issuer immediately.
